Dr. Daoud Al-Badriyeh

Dr. Daoud Al-Badriyeh completed an honors degree in Pharmacy at the University of Sydney, Australia) and then received his PhD in Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. Dr. Daoud also pursued a certificate in Healthcare Analytics from the University of California, Davis, California, USA.

Currently, Dr. Daoud is an Associate Professor of Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research at the College of Pharmacy at Qatar University. He is also an adjunct faculty member at the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine in Monash University, Australia.

Dr. Daoud’s research focuses on the health economics, decision analytic economic modeling and simulation, in addition to the comparative clinical effectiveness research and the economic impact of clinical and technology interventions to reduce error and events in practices.

Dr. Daoud publishes regularly, has several current and graduated Master and PhD students, and received several competitive grants as principal investigator from Qatar Foundation, Hamad Medical Corporation, and other universities’ and hospitals’ funds locally and overseas.

Dr. Daoud is also the Founder and current President of the Qatar Chapter of the International Society of Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR, USA).
